Los Patrones Solution

A Cost and Time Saving Solution for Los Patrones Parkway

Los Patrones Parkway is a 5-mile-long, newly built highway that connects Orange County to Rancho Mission Viejo in Southern California. In order to construct the resilient commuter road while also saving costs (up to $4.5M saved), the City and County chose a cement solution to stabilize the existing soil instead of using traditional materials and methods.

Construction began in 2017, and by using this efficient technique, the road was completed in 90 days while using significantly less trucks. The highway opened ahead of schedule in 2018.
